Finally...Halloween!

And by finally, I mean - I finally got around to posting! Things, well are always busy and I'm afraid this blog has become a last priority...nonetheless, here's an update from Halloween and hopefully I won't be too late on Christmas activities!

Here we are at our friends pumpkin patch party!

Who's that knocking?!
It's cookie and froggy!

We lucked out this year with the candy haul...the kids chose one thing (after I'd gone through it) and have never asked since that night! I'm sure we'll use at the smarties at Christmas decorating gingerbread houses!

Halloween Fun

We did all things Halloweeny around here last week...pumpkins, dressing up, decorating and of course trick or treating! James loved dressing up as Cookie Monster and did so many times throughout the week. He really loved it when Mason dressed up as a Hot Dog and pretended to eat him on many occasions, laughing hysterically!

Here we are carving our little family of pumpkins!

Hot Diggity Dog you're cute! I'm sorry you get hand-me-downs and about not being able to crawl in your costume!
Cookie just had to take a flying leap off our jump before trick or treating!

Miranda, I didn't get any good ones of the boys (those silly safety patches were all my camera caught, ok safety isn't silly, but they were very glowy!) - do you have any? Thanks for going out with us, we (James) had a great time and wanted to do it more when he got home!

Play Group!

Yesterday was dress up day at play group - James wore his cookie monster costume but we couldn't keep Mason in his costume because he couldn't crawl and it's all he wants to do aside from pulling himself up. He even went through the tunnel with a big grin on his face!

The Pumpkin Picking!

We took the kids out for the annual pumpkin patch trip this year to Hazelmere! We had a great time, despite the cold weather! The kids loved the tractor ride through the mud and the corn maze! Mason was also quite enamored with the goats! We didn't get all of our pumpkins here, but picked up one for Grammy and two little ones for us...we'll get more this week to carve!
