Yesterday was dress up day at play group - James wore his cookie monster costume but we couldn't keep Mason in his costume because he couldn't crawl and it's all he wants to do aside from pulling himself up. He even went through the tunnel with a big grin on his face!

I love myself today
Well who is that handsome baby in the mirror? That super cute kiddo needs a high five and maybe some sloppy kisses!
Mason pulling himself up!
Mason is determined to walk and yesterday even pushed himself unassisted behind a push car, which I didn't capture on video, but hope to soon! If he can pull himself up on something he will!
Here he is in our living room on the little garden that taught James to stand up too!

The newest game around here
We've been spending most of our free time at home outside, as we can't get James off hisStrider (which makes mom quite happy!) The newest game we play on our neighbours driveway is a racing - rather simple really, but tons of fun and we do it over and over again! James on his bike and Mason in the little push car! Thanks for the driveway use Dave & Bonnie!
Ready set go!
Did I win? (No, buddy but good try - you're brother is quite fast, but it's all about having fun!)
Happy Rider!

The Pumpkin Picking!
We took the kids out for the annual pumpkin patch trip this year to Hazelmere! We had a great time, despite the cold weather! The kids loved the tractor ride through the mud and the corn maze! Mason was also quite enamored with the goats! We didn't get all of our pumpkins here, but picked up one for Grammy and two little ones for us...we'll get more this week to carve!

Super Bubs
Things get pretty crazy around here after dinner each night! It's as if the kids know it's the last hurray of the day and they give it their all! Lately James has wanted to wear his Super J cape around his waist like a skirt and insists that Mason (we call him the Bub!) wears one too, in the form of a dance scarf we have - we tuck it into his diaper and he's off on the chase...down the hall into James' room! None stop fun until someone usually falls (James) and game over - bath time! It's good for more than a few laughs!
Perma-grin with two little toofs!
I can only imagine how crazy and fun it will be when Mason can walk or run!

10 on the 10th 10*10*10 edition!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Today is a special day out there 10/10/10 so a perfect day to update you on 10 things about my sweet little guys! We've had a busy month - they all seem that way though!
1. We took a trip to Victoria on the ferry and had a great visit at Grandma and Papa's. Mason fell in love with Lexi, their dog.
2. A weekly favorite for both boys is watching Daddy mow the lawn from the big window!
3. James has taken a way bigger interest in Mason now that he can move and play, which thrills Mason! Here he is pretending to make food for Mason and feed him at the playhouse. Mason is such a little mover - he crawls everywhere now and can pull himself to standing!
4. We had a successful year in our organic fruit and veggie garden this year! All of the late fall veg came at the perfect time to brew up some yums for Mason (just like we did with this zucchini!)
6. Geoff and I have been doing a lot of hot yoga lately and we taught James some moves (I think he thinks this is all we do in our 'spare' time!) Here is the down dog. His forms needs some practice!
8. Mason and James participated in their first Terry Fox run (the 30th annual) - good job boys!!
10. Lastly on this lovely sunny Thanksgiving Day, we are so thankful for our wonderful family and friends! You have made our transition to two so much easier for us and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

Mason on the move!
I finally bought some new video tape to capture Mason's crawl (not the first unfortunately!) He is a mover and always wants to crawl towards the closet person and when he reaches you he pulls himself to standing! And the biggest smile adorns his cute little face - he's so proud of himself!

Furniture walking
Mason just can't seem to sit still these days and in the same week he started crawling did this...to our amazement! I think he might be just like James and walk very early! Geoff and I have a bet - he says by Christmas, I say after January 1st! We'll see who's right (looks like Geoff might be!)
